Placental Enlargement During Exercise

Placental Enlargement During Exercise

Exercise that is started relatively early in pregnancy, such as 12 to 14 weeks, makes the placenta larger and makes it more efficient in bringing oxygen and nutrients to the baby. That’s important because ultimately there’s a lower risk for a major drop in the heartbeat during labor and C-sections related to that, that major drop.
